Leica MP
M-Mount The Leica MP is a premium 35mm film rangefinder camera introduced by Leica in 2003. Standing for "Mechanical Perfection" (or *Mechanik in Perfektion*), it features a fully mechanical shutter, an all-brass top and bottom plate, and a selective TTL light meter. It was designed as a purist alternative to the electronic Leica M7, combining the classic aesthetics of the M3 with the modern metering of the M6.
